Karen is a life-long writer, starting by processing all of her early-life events in prose. She put her writing way of life into a career by getting a degree in journalism and working in the marketing communications field, mostly with an international non-profit. An encounter with a co-worker launched her book career. While confessing strange thoughts, she asked if her friend thought Karen had lost it. "No, I think you have a novel in you that's screaming to get out," her friend replied.
